The new and improved unit calendar has been designed to provide all the information needed regarding our unit events. In a previous post, we mentioned how you can subscribe to the calendar so our events and information can be automatically synced with your calendar on your computer or mobile device.

This post introduces calendar view options. When you are viewing the unit calendar via our website, you can view our schedule of events several different ways. By default, the calendar displays the “agenda” view with every event we have currently scheduled listed in date order. In the upper left corner, there are three drop downs.

The first drop down allows you view the calendar as posterboard, month, week, or day views.

The second pull down is a filter. It allows you to view the calendar by different categories. For example, if you only want to see drill dates, select that option and only the drill dates will be displayed. You can select more than one category at a time.

The third pull down allows you to view the calendar by different tags. Just like the second pull down, it is a filter and will display only the events with the tag(s) you select. It also shows the number of events that have the same tag.

If you have recently subscribed to receive our updates, be sure to check the entire calendar as several events have already been scheduled. As new events are added or if there are any changes to a current event, subscribers will receive notification via email.
