The Greater Lake County Young Marines unit is in need of a new home. The director of the Eastlake Police Activities League (PAL) Center informed us last night (15 September) at drill that PAL is almost doubling our rent to use their facility for our drills effective immediately. Over the years, the amount of space they have allowed us to use has dwindled to less than ¾ of the space we initially had and yet they are turning around and charging us almost double. As a non-profit organization that relies solely on donations and fundraisers to financially support ourselves, this rate increase is not something we have in our budget and opted not to accept it. Therefore, we have 30 days to find a new drill location.

We are looking for a new place to hold our monthly drills as well as a place to store all of our equipment. If you know of either, please email our Unit Commander or our XO ASAP.
