Activity for All Deployable Young Marines – Saturday, December 7

The staff is planning a fun day for all deployable Young Marines on Saturday, December 7. We are still finalizing the details but we are focusing on the great history of Cleveland. Some of the activities may include: Tour of Grays Armory, a tour of the USS Cod followed by wreath laying ceremony, tour of the Soldiers and Sailors Monument, and a trip to the observation deck at the Terminal Tower.

To be considered for activities such as this, the staff takes the following into consideration: deployable status based on grades/turning in report cards, attendance at drill, participation in community service events, and participation in parades. If we are limited to the number of Young Marines we can take, all of this is considered and we select participants accordingly.

Based on the above, the following Young Marines are eligible:

Dumont
Gasier
Higham
McCoy
McGrath, Tanner
McGrath, Tyler
McGratten
Mendez
Weber

Congratulations! The staff knows you have worked hard to achieve deployable status and we would like to recognize your accomplishment.

The unit will cover all admission fees and will give each Young Marine $10 towards lunch at Tower City. Young Marines are permitted to bring their own spending money as well.

Please email Ms. Clark NO LATER than December 2 and let her know if you can attend or not. Responses after that date will NOT be accepted. We will send an email to those attending with drop off/pick up times and location at a later date.
