Reminder: Random Acts of Kindness” Contest Due December 14

We are inviting all Young Marines and Recruits to participate in a “Random Acts of Kindness” contest. We request they try to log a minimum of 10 good deeds or well wishes between now and December 14th. Anyone who has 15 or more qualify for a reward. This will also qualify as community service.

Examples of Acts of Kindness: Compliment a classmate or friend, help a friend or someone with a chore or homework, helping a random person in a store get something off a high shelf, holding the door open for someone, letting someone cut in front of you at a store register during holiday shopping, etc.

Mrs. Dubin will be putting your deeds on a snowflake for each Random Act of Kindness that will include your name and description. The snowflakes will be attached to long strands of ribbons. We will then take a group picture holding the snowflake display in front of everyone who participated. She will then send the picture and a short article to National HQs for the Espirit magazine to recognize their good deeds.

Please have your list emailed to Mrs. Dubin NO LATER THAN December 14. We have included a downloadable log here for your convenience.
