The Lake County Fair Parade is our only mandatory parade.

Date: 12 August 2014
Drop off: 1700 at Harvey High School. Step off at 1800. See our unit calendar for a map.
Pick up: 1845 at the back gate of the fairgrounds off of Fairgrounds Road.
Uniforms: Squared away with proper haircuts. Bring your canteens (water bottles are not permitted).

Other

We are usually one of the first marching units in the parade and we are done while the rest of the parade continues so parents will need to pick up their Young Marine at the back gate at 1845. We strongly encourage parents to watch the parade right around the area of the back gate to alleviate any trouble getting to the pick up location while the parade continues.

Parade participants usually get their hand stamped so they can get free admission to the fair after the parade.

Young Marines are required to contact Ms. Clark by Friday, 8 August, if they CAN NOT attend.
