As of April 2018, drill is held one weekend a month on a Saturday and consecutive Sunday from 0830 to 1530 each day. Young Marines and recruits will need to bring a packed lunch both days.

Drill is mandatory but we understand circumstances arise when a Young Marine/recruit is not able to attend a meeting. In order to receive an excused absence, all Young Marines/recruits are required to send an email to attendance@glcyoungmarines.org prior to the start of drill.
