Our unit has been asked to help out at the Montville Bicentennial Celebration on July 25. The town of Montville is located at the intersection of Routes 6 and 528 in Geauga County. Young Marines will help park cars, provide other assistance that’s needed, and we will also have a booth and sell our dog tags. It’s a great opportunity for us get exposure in the community and also serves as a fundraiser for the unit. Attendees can either volunteer for a couple of hours or stay the whole day. Parents are asked to participate if they are available.

If transportation is an issue, we encourage you to contact another Young Marines to see if you can carpool. There are also several staff members who will help transport Young Marines to and/or from the event if needed.
