Community Service Opportunities in Honor of Red Ribbon Week

National Red Ribbon Week starts October 21st and runs through October 31st. It is a time we heavily participate in as this is an opportunity to focus on our drug demand reduction efforts. This time was created in memory of former Marine and DEA Agent Enrique ‘Kiki’ Camerena. Learn more at the following link:

Our unit will be making red slip knot ripcord bracelets and handing out “Living a Drug Free Lifestyle” pamphlets, all provided by our National Headquarters. We will be doing this at the following events:

1) Thursday, October 26th: Great Lakes Mall Trick-or-Treat night 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm

2) Friday and Saturday, October 28th and/or 29th: Mysteries of the Manor 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm

We will start making the bracelets at drill on Saturday, October 22nd. Further details regarding drop-off times, location, and attire will be provided at drill on Saturday, October 22nd. All are expected to attend as they will not receive their DDR hours if absent.
