Community Service Opportunity: Placing flags at Veterans’ Graves on May 24

Every year during Memorial Day weekend, we honor the fallen by placing flags on the grave sites of all military personnel buried at Whitehaven Cemetery. All Young Marines and recruits are encouraged to participate.

DETAILS

  • Where: Whitehaven Memorial Park, 615 SOM Center Rd, Mayfield Village, OH 44143
  • Time: 0830–1100. Parents must stay. Pizza will be offered for all that help.
  • Attire: Jeans/cargo shorts and unit t-shirt/sweatshirt. Jeans/shorts must not be torn or have holes on them.  Please note, wear shoes/boots and clothes that can get dirty if it is muddy. Do NOT wear your uniform boots.

RSVP: Please email Mr. Sickles know by May 21 and let him know if you will be there or not.
